Elementary Band
Just like in any other classroom, I expect to set up a positive learning environment. In order for that to occur, students will need to do the following:
1. Be respectful of yourself, your classmates, and the teacher.
2. Come on time and prepared to every class with your instrument, pencil, folder/music, practice log, and positive attitude!
3. Raise your hand and wait to be called on if you have an answer or question.
4. Give your best effort at all times.
5. Follow all directions given by the teacher.
6. Ask questions always!
7. Have fun!
Remember the Golden Rule:
Treat others the way you would like to be treated.
And of course, the all important:
If you have nothing kind to say, do not say anything at all.
There will be NO bullying or disparaging remarks of any kind in my classroom. If students break the rules, the consequences will be in the following order:
1. Verbal warning
2. Conversation after class
3. Phone call home
As long as students follow the rules, we will have an amazing year!
